On the day

You can just turn up on the day, comfortable in your ability to walk the length of route advertised which tend to be along the more remote country footpaths, so robust foot-ware and weatherproof clothing are recommended. We do set off promptly at the start time, so please try to be there at least 10-15 minutes early. It is advisable to carry a drink and a snack, and on the longer walks bring a picnic.

How to join Canterbury Ramblers

You can join online via the Ramblers website by clicking the link above. Enter your "Ramblers Group" as "Canterbury Group", and you'll be made a member of Canterbury Ramblers.

We recommend ticking the “Ramblers may contact me by email” box, so we can send you newsletters and important updates about last-minute changes to walks.
If you join online, it sometimes takes a couple of weeks for us to receive your details, so please send your contact details to our Membership Administrator so that we can add you to our mailing lists immediately.

How to transfer to Canterbury Ramblers

If you’re already a member of another Ramblers group and you have an active login account for Ramblers, you can immediately transfer your group membership to Canterbury by logging into Ramblers and going to “My Account” From there choose “My Groups” and then select the “Change Ramblers Group” Choose “Area: Kent” and Group: “Canterbury” and “Confirm Selection”
