10 mile walk from Stone Street (near Petham)

We go out via Pett Bottom, then skirt Gorsley wood to Reed's Mill.  Then down to the old Elham valley disused railway line and Bishopsbourne.

The return route passes Bourne House, then through Whitehill Wood and Lower Hardres.

Bring a picnic, with pub stop for drinks at The Mermaid, Bishopsbourne.
