## Points of Interest

### Access

This is a proposed public link for committee discussion. It is not a walk to follow. About 1 km from CB345 to the bypass is unofficial, and a locked metal gate stands about 20 metres before the bridge.

### Elham Valley Railway

The dismantled line from Canterbury towards Bridge and Elham. The farm path runs close and parallel to the wooded trackbed.

### The locked gate

Robert's suggested first step is a kissing gate funded by KCC, so walkers can pass without giving motor vehicles a way through.

### CB309 and Whitehill Wood

Once over the bridge, CB309 is a public bridleway to Bridge Road, then orchard and Whitehill Wood. Return via CB307, CB351 and CB347 from opposite Nackington church.

Recorded from correspondence with Robert Veltman, October 2026, as a proposed route for discussion. This is not a public walk.
